Adult Mental Health First Aid
This course is available as either an online or face to face training session.
Adult MHFA Courses that is an internationally recognised course and to fit with your needs;
On completion of the Two Mental Health First Aid Course you will be able to;
- Recognise the symptoms of mental health issues
- Provide initial help
- Guide a person towards appropriate professional help
It does not teach you how to be a therapist, but once you’ve completed the two day course you will be able to say you are a Mental Health First Aider.

Adult Mental Health Champion
This course is available as either an online or face to face training session.
Our one day mental health awareness and skills course qualifies you as an Adult MHFA Champion.
MHFA Champions have:
- An understanding of common mental health issues
- Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness
- Ability to spot signs of mental ill health
- Skills to support positive wellbeing

Adult Mental Health Awareness
This course is available as either an online or face to face training session.
Our half day course is an introductory four hour session to raise awareness of mental health.
It is designed to give you:
- An understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma
- A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
- An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
- Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue

Adult Mental Health Refresher
This course is available as either an online or face to face training session.
If you are a Mental Health First Aider or MHFA Champion you have skills for life that support you and the people around you.
We believe that mental health should be treated equally to physical health – and just like physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid training should be kept up to date.
The four hour MHFA Refresher course will empower you to:
- Keep your awareness of mental health supports current
- Update your knowledge of mental health and what influences it
- Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan
Please note that the MHFA Refresher is only for people who have completed an Adult MHFA Two Day or One Day, or Armed Forces MHFA Two Day course.
Youth Mental Health First Aid
This course is available as either an online or face to face training session.
A two day Youth MHFA Course that is an internationally recognised course and designed specifically for those people that teach, work, support, live with or care for young people aged 8 – 18 years.
On completion you will be able to;
- Provide information, tools and techniques to promote a young person’s mental and emotional wellbeing
- Support a young person who might be experiencing mental and emotional distress.
This training has been design to fit into four manageable sections. Within each section there is a clear focus on the issues faced by young people. The course also teaches the importance of promoting wellbeing and protective factors.
It does not teach you how to be a therapist, but once you’ve completed the two day course you will be able to say you are a Youth Mental Health First Aider.

Youth Mental Health Awareness
This course is available as either an online or face to face training session.
This is an introductory half day course.
On completion you will be able to;
- Gain an understanding of some of the common mental health issues affecting young people
- Learn to work more effectively with young people living with mental health issues
- Identify stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues
- Learn ways to support young people with a mental health issue and relate to their experiences
- Experience a taste of the contents of the Youth MHFA course
